Welcome Rebecca Hardy

Ayers Creek Adventures welcomes back Rebecca Hardy as our Operations Manager.

Ayers Creek Adventures (ACA) announced it has hired Rebecca Hardy to serve as Operations Manager.  In this new role Rebecca will manage all aspects of the day to day seasonal operations including kayak tours and rentals, staff management, and marketing.

Rebecca previously worked with Ayers Creek Adventures as a summer staff member from 2014 through 2019.  Her winning smile, focus on customer service, and extensive knowledge of the creek and its wildlife made her an invaluable team member over the years. “We are very excited to have Rebecca back on the team as Ayers Creek Adventures works to build our brand and increase local business” says co-owner Suzy Taylor.

Originally from Baltimore, Rebecca has called Salisbury home since the Summer of 2009 when she moved there for college. Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a focus of Wetland Ecology and Environmental Science from Salisbury University in 2014. Rebecca says, “I am honored to be a part of the ACA staff once again, for my heart never truly left the creek that summer of 2019 when I thought I made my initial goodbyes. My favorite thing to do at ACA is to lead a guided kayak tour through our Salt Marsh. It’s absolutely a different world out there with stunning views of nature as well as many of our bald eagles that nest along Ayers and adjacent creeks.”

During the off-season Rebecca can be found at the occasional winery, hiking/camping with friends or planning day trips to Longwood Gardens or nearby adventures with her boyfriend.
